This classic Hatha yoga class concentrates on releasing tension, gaining strength and flexibility and increasing overall wellbeing.

This class has an online and in-person option.

Online is perfect for busy people who want to exercise from home, people who cannot get to a gym or studio, or who prefer to work out in privacy … OR people outside of West Yorkshire. This class is taught in a live studio environment as if you are in the studio with us, with all the prompts and modifications you would expect.  The pacing of the class has a nice rhythm with a warm up, energy building part, core strength postures, balances and a cool down, ending with an enjoyable relaxation.

Alternatively join us in person (booking essential) at Woodhouse Community Centre, Normanton, WF6 1JH, every Sunday, 10am.

Class: Yoga: one hour class, join our popular studio class, digitally!

Date and time: Sunday morning 10:00 – 11:00 am GMT.

Location: From the comfort of your own home! You will join the class via a Zoom link that is emailed out before the weekly session. *If you want to join the in person class, please email Nadine with your request so she can check space availability before booking*

Price: £10 per class

Dress code: Wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in. Workout clothes are ideal. Have your yoga mat unrolled and a water bottle handy.

 

Description:

The hour long session is a classic Hatha yoga class which will concentrate on releasing tension, connecting with the breath and gaining strength and flexibility.

Suitable for beginners and yogis of all levels, this one hour class starts with an easy warm up to loosen muscles and joints then moves into traditional yoga postures which will stretch and strengthen the body. Some balances are included to focus the mind, we also strengthen the core and every class ends with a lovely, calming relaxation. This class is a great stress reliever!

Booking Information:

The class is online via Zoom and you will receive a link and passcode to access the class before the Sunday 10am start time (usually at least 24 hours before).

Therefore the cut off time for booking for this class is 11pm on Saturday before class. Any bookings received after this time will receive the joining link for the class the following Sunday.

You will be able to see the instructor on the screen to follow along but the instructor will not be able to offer personalised adjustments. However Nadine’s teaching style is very descriptive and you’ll find you can do the class from verbal cues only, using the screen as a visual back up.

Due to the digital nature of this product:  All sales are final and failure to use the link will not be refunded or rescheduled.

If you experience any technical issues accessing this class, please email Nadine who could offer a replay of the class recording if you were unable to attend live – this replay is valid for 3 days. But it is recommended that you familiarise yourself with Zoom before the first class to avoid any potential issues.
