Class: Restorative Yoga, one hour class online via Zoom at a time to suit you

Price: £10 per class (GBP). For purchases from outside of the UK, simply add to basket and proceed to checkout. PayPal will automatically convert the transaction into your own local currency.

Dress code: Wear comfortable clothes that you can move freely in – layers are great, socks are a nice addition too!

Prepare to have with you: Your yoga mat, a blanket or two, eye mask (or clean face cloth or other suitable covering), a yoga bolster or a pillow for under your knees. Personal preference will determine how many props you use, feel free to gather extra cushions or blankets to have nearby in case you want to use them.

Optional extras: If you have them you may also wish to bring to your mat area; a pencil and paper for reflection after class and a favourite crystal.

 

Description:

Carve out some time to pause the outside world as you settle into this calming class which aims to support you in bringing your central nervous system to a state of ‘rest and digest’ with longer held postures using props to achieve a state of ease and release in the body.

The class starts with a reminder of the props you will need including alternative suggestions and then moves straight into a settling in and relaxation to help you to find presence in your body and mind.  You are guided into a meditation to help you to create space within the mind and a technique to deal with demanding thoughts. You are always fully in control of the process as much as you wish to be.  Stillness can be challenging for some people and the more you allow yourself to immerse yourself in this practice it gets easier. However to fully let go, you need to build trust, both with the teacher and with yourself. This class can help you to do that.

Always moving at your own pace, this class guides you through a few supported postures, where you are held by the props enabling you to release muscular activation which also helps to calm the mind.  You are invited into guided visualisation to soothe the mind as you loosen the body, ultimately dissolving into a state of deep relaxation.

This class is suitable for all ages and abilities and is particularly beneficial to people seeking a nurturing practice.

This class is a recording via a bespoke Zoom link. Within 24 hours of your purchase, you will receive an email via Zoom which contains details of how to access the class.  The class recording link is valid for 3 days but you are welcome to watch the class as many times as you wish within that 3 day limit.

Due to the digital nature of this product:  All sales are final and failure to use the link you purchased will not be refunded or reissued. You have 3 days from receipt of the link via Zoom to access the recording.
