Description:

A soothing, calming class which moves slowly between different stretches to lengthen the body whilst promoting a mind body connection. If you are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, have a low mood or like your brain never stops talking, tuning into this class with its easy pace and peaceful tone will help you to slow down from within.

The class starts with a reminder of the props you may want to use (optional) then moves straight into a guided settling in. Each posture is clearly cued so you can guide yourself into it and postures are held for enough time to allow your muscles to lengthen and open to the full benefit of the posture.

Once the full body has enjoyed a good stretch, you will move into the Savasana (relaxation) with an affirmation setting practice to help recalibrate your nervous system, bringing connection to mind and body.

You are always fully in control of the process and may feel refreshed or calm after the practice, putting you into a receptive state for rest or sleep.

This class is suitable for all ages and abilities and is particularly beneficial to people seeking a nurturing practice.
